EXPERIENCE
Built on a Solid Foundation
After his enlistment in the US Army, Tony Ritter moved to San Luis Obispo, California to work construction with his brother. Starting as an unskilled laborer, he learned quickly, eventually becoming superintendent for multiple track home developments. In 1990 Tony began his own company, Ritter Construction, which has completed over 30 years of numerous construction projects in the Central Coast region. These jobs have included custom single family homes, multi home tracks, and various light commercial projects.
In 2004 Ritter Construction acquired a local concrete company, creating a specialized concrete division that has built foundations, flatwork, and retaining walls throughout San Luis Obispo County. The concrete division of the company is skilled in all aspects concrete but specializes in complex hillside foundations along the coast, specifically Pismo and Avila Beach.
In 2019 Ritter Construction was featured in two shows including Netflix’s Stay Here and A&E’s Tiny House Nation. Most recently Ritter Construction has been remodeling a 500+ unit apartment complex in San Luis Obispo, CA, and continues to build foundations along the coastal hills.
Based out of Paso Robles, Ritter Construction is also heavily involved in the community, including work with Paso Cares Homeless Services and Skills USA Paso Robles High School Chapter. Although Ritter Construction employs anywhere from 10-20 employees at a time, it’s small business mentality still holds the important traditions of family and community.
